Poland are hopeful star striker Robert Lewandowski will be fit for their second Group D match at Euro 2024 against Austria on Thursday.

The Barcelona forward missed Poland's opening 1-0 defeat to Slovakia with a shoulder injury, but is expected to return to the starting line-up for the clash in Warsaw.

Austria, meanwhile, will be without suspended defender Stefan Lainer, who was sent off in their 3-1 defeat to Ukraine on Saturday.
