Outside Lands Road Closures in Effect

North Side Entrances Impacted

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 8, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Road closures are in effect for Outside Lands, which starts Friday in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. JFK Drive from Transverse to 36th Ave is closed beginning at 6 a.m.

Road closures for vehicles are already taking place inside Golden Gate Park and will last through Aug. 14. The affected entrances on the north side of the park include:

• Bowling Green Drive at Stow Lake Drive
• Strawberry Hill Drive at Middle Drive

As city officials prepare for thousands of music lovers to congregate at Golden Gate Park for the Outside Lands music festival next week, residents are advised to plan ahead and consider alternate routes.
