Denver Nuggets Sign Trio of Free Agents
Collin Gillespie, Jay Huff, and Peyton Watson Join the Team

The Denver Nuggets announced today that they have signed guard Collin Gillespie, center Jay Huff, and forward Peyton Watson to free agent contracts. All three players were part of the team's Las Vegas Summer League roster.
Gillespie, a 6'3" guard from Villanova, averaged 11.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in Summer League play. He was named to the All-Summer League Second Team after shooting 46.9% from the field, 40.0% from three-point range, and 90.0% from the free throw line.
Huff, a 7'1" center from Virginia, averaged 7.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks in Summer League play. He shot 50.0% from the field and 75.0% from the free throw line.
Watson, a 6'8" forward from UCLA, averaged 6.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in Summer League play. He shot 42.9% from the field and 38.5% from three-point range.
Nuggets President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly said, "Collin, Jay, and Peyton are all young players with a lot of upside. They all played well in Summer League and we think they can contribute to our team next season."
