New York Film Festival 2024 Lineup Announced
Cannes Winners, Indie All-Stars Grace Main Slate
Sean Baker, Mike Leigh, and Brady Corbet Join the Festivities
The 62nd New York Film Festival (NYFF) has unveiled its highly anticipated main slate, featuring a captivating lineup of 33 films that showcase the latest cinematic triumphs from around the world.
Among the most notable inclusions are Sean Baker's "Anora," which took home the Palme d'Or at this year's Cannes Film Festival, and Mike Leigh's "Oh Canada," a searing drama that captivated audiences at Cannes. Brady Corbet's "Seed of the Force" also joins the lineup, bringing its thought-provoking and visually stunning exploration of power and addiction to NYFF.
The festival's artistic director, Dennis Lim, praised the lineup's diversity and artistic merit. "This year's slate truly represents the breadth and vitality of contemporary cinema," he said. "We're thrilled to present a program that reflects the urgency and vision of filmmakers working today."
NYFF 2024 will run from September 28th to October 16th, presenting a diverse range of films, including documentaries, feature films, and experimental works.
